Fishing
Our home base for fishing is White Sands Marina, located on the Port Isabel Side Channel with easy access to the Lower Laguna Madre, South Bay and the Port of Brownsville.
In addition to snook, we routinely catch red drum (redfish), spotted seatrout (speckled trout), southern flounder, mangrove snapper, jack crevalle, ladyfish and more.
Birding
Our birding trips depart Adolph Thomae County Park in Arroyo City, and encompass the entire tidal portion of the Arroyo Colorado as well as the lower 4 miles of the freshwater segment of that river.
At Kiskadee Charters, we believe context is everything. For us, fishing is about more than just catching fish, and birding is about more than putting a check mark and a date on some list.
We invite you to join us and share our passion for the lower Texas Gulf coast. Port Isabel is an easy three-hour drive from Corpus Christi, and about six hours from Austin or Houston.
Regularly scheduled passenger service is available to three Rio Grande Valley airports, and the area's beaches, rich culture and colorful history make it a great vacation getaway for the whole family.
